I’m Kate Rogers, an accredited person-centered psychotherapeutic counsellor and hypnotherapist based in Brighton & Hove.

My work is grounded in empathy, honesty, and real human connection. I believe change happens when you feel truly heard and accepted — not judged, analysed, or told what to do.

Before training as a therapist, I worked in a range of supportive roles, including health promotion and supporting people experiencing homelessness. These experiences shaped how I work today: with compassion, realism, and a deep respect for each person’s individual story.

I also bring lived experience as a parent to a child with autism and developmental language differences. This journey has given me a deep understanding of stress, emotional overwhelm, resilience, and how important it is to feel supported rather than alone.

My approach is integrative and person-centered, meaning our work is shaped around you — your needs, your pace, and what feels most important to explore. Whether we work through counselling, hypnotherapy, or a combination of both, this is your space.

What matters most to me is that you feel safe, respected, and supported in finding your own way forward.
